IDT offers two types of randomization: standard mix and custom mix. Standard mix bases are charged at the standard base price for the scale ordered. Custom mixed bases provide custom ratios of the desired mix of bases and incur additional fees.
Custom mixed bases, also known as Hand-Mixed Bases, can be introduced at any position in an oligonucleotide sequence. When using the Oligo Entry Tool, use the Mixed Bases tab to select your desired IUB symbol and the percentage of each base. A table for mixed base notation is shown below.
