Luminex SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR Assay

The ARIES® System (Luminex) is an automated sample-to-answer PCR instrument. IDT offers real-time reverse transcriptase PCR (RT-PCR) assays for identification of SARS-CoV-2 using primer and probe sequences published by the China National Institute for Viral Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (US CDC) on the ARIES® System. The Luminex SARS-CoV-2 assay identifies the Orf1ab, HKU-N, RP, and N genes to positively identify SARS-CoV-2. IDT provides primers and probes specifically for this assay and the identification of this virus. Our primers and probes are manufactured at IDT under ISO 13485:2016. The kits include primers and double-quenched ZEN™/lowa Black® probes.
